Accreditation:

This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the Joint Providership of The Institute for Medical Studies (IMS) and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. IMS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Institute for Medical Studies designates this live activity for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

(Note that the webinar portion is designated for up to 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and the hands on portion is designated for up to 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ )

Many societies and credentialing bodies accept the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ designation as equivalent CE or CEU as long as the topic is in the applicant’s field or discipline. However, it is advisable that if an individual is unsure whether their attendance can be used towards certification or re-licensure they should check with their governing body. Neither AAAM nor IMS is responsible for such acceptance.
