Level 3 Board Certification in Aesthetic Medicine
Pre-requisite: Successful Completion of Level 2 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, 6 months of aesthetic medicine practical
Upon completion of Level 2, and after six months of practical experience in Aesthetic Medicine, the Diplomate is eligible to take a two-hour multiple-choice Board Certification exam. If a passing grade of 70% is achieved, participants advance to an oral examination assessing proficiency in several areas of Aesthetic Medicine.
As part of the Oral Examination, Board candidates will be provided two patient cases to assess and recommend a treatment plan to two senior AAAM faculty. These patient cases are provided on-site, and Board Candidates are provided time to review the cases
The Board Certification Exams are a one to two-day commitment based upon the number of Board candidates. After successful completion of both the written and oral examination, you will be awarded a Board Certified in Aesthetic Medicine.
